The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 567 recently replaced their old, outdated website with a newly redesigned website.
The new IBEW Local 567 website will provide members a multitude of reasons to frequently visit the site – from job referrals to member communication – and will make the Local stronger.
New Features
The new website includes several new features for the membership to use.
For instance, the interactive homepage includes updated, pertinent news for Local 567, a menu bar at the top of the page, easy shortcuts to frequently used pages, social links, a calendar and more.
The site is a great tool for prospective members, including potential apprentices and experienced non-union electricians, to find information about the benefits of joining Local 567 and how to apply to become a member. The site also discusses the benefits of becoming a signatory contractor, as well.
Viewers can also read about construction issues, which affect Local 567 such as livable wages, So-Called “Right to Work,” Project Labor Agreements and more. These issues affect not only our members, but the union construction industry.
Local 567 Members Section
The new website contains a members section, which contains information and resources crucial to the members of Local 567.
Among the information available in this section is a link and phone number for the NECA Health Insurance Plan Office, a link to Maine Prevailing Wage Rates, Federal Davis-Bacon Rates and links to the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers website and other labor-related websites.
Members can also resign, find information on journeyman upgrade courses, other journeyman resources and several other important documents.
Also, make sure you check out the photo gallery, which is located in this section.
The IBEW Local 567 leadership hopes the members enjoy using the new website, find it easy to navigate and helps improve member communication and overall member experience.
